Goodman Gallery is delighted to announce a new commission by Zineb Sedira, Dreams are a language made of images (2025). Co-curated with Arup Phase 2, the work forms part of The Line’s Longitudinal Dialogues programme.
Installed by the River Lea at 3 Mills Studios, a renowned centre for film and television production, Sedira’s site-specific work explores the interplay between dreams, cinema, and the flowing presence of the river. A multidisciplinary artist working across film, photography, installation, and performance, Sedira is acclaimed for weaving together personal stories with broader histories of identity, migration, and geopolitics.
Speaking on the work, Sedira reflects: “Rivers are forever changing and moving. Like dreams they are not fixed. Rivers are places of mobility, routes to other countries, other worlds, other dreams.”
