Goodman Gallery returns to Art Basel Paris with a dynamic presentation of major works by institutionally recognised artists El Anatsui, William Kentridge, Kapwani Kiwanga, Zineb Sedira, Pamela Phatsimo Sunstrum and Carrie Mae Weems. Also on view at the gallery’s booth (C18) are new works by Kudzanai Chiurai, Jared Ginsburg and Odili Donald Odita, alongside important historical works by Alexander Calder, Ernest Cole, David Goldblatt, Atta Kwami, Henri Matisse, Shirin Neshat and Pablo Picasso.

Goodman Gallery’s presentation at Art Basel Paris also encompasses important secondary-market works by major historical figures, including Alexander Calder, Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso. In 1984, the gallery presented a posthumous solo exhibition of Picasso’s work spanning the period from 1902 to 1967, marking the first presentation of his work in South Africa.
